Turkish Grameen Microfinance Program (TGMP) is one of the largest microfinance organizations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and a field partner of Grameen Trust. Currently, TGMP operates in 64 provinces in 96 branches across Turkey. Since its establishment in 2003, the Turkish Foundation for Waste Reduction Microcredit Center encourages financially challenged women to engage in income-generating activities. Therefore, it provides appropriate financial services to all financially challenged families living in Turkey. In this way, they improve their socio-economic and create a financially sustainable environment. According to the credit disbursement statistics of TGMP, the amount of distributed microcredit exceeded 875 million TRY and it has impacted the lives of more than 185,000 financially challenged women.

TGMP has introduced various innovative technological solutions in the model of microfinance which will eventually impact the international system of microfinance. In line with this vision, TGMP introduces MicroCreditCoin (MCC) e-Marketplace Platform which amalgamates social business, microcredit, retail e-commerce, and cryptocurrency markets in order to contribute to a world without poverty. MCC e-Marketplace Platform focuses on solving the financial inclusion problem with the application of blockchain technology for microcredit. The MCC e-Marketplace Platform removes barriers of financial participation and provides access to financial services without a bank account. The primary goal of the MCC e-Marketplace Platform is maximizing goodness instead of maximizing profit. As it is stated by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus, “Making money is happiness, making other people happy is a super happiness.”
