The Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR) aims to establish an ecosystem network through local and international collaboration with public sector bodies; universities; think-tanks; science, industry and technology academies; and blockchain platforms and consortiums in other countries or established by other associations.

Established in 2015, Bilkent University - TÜSİAD Information Society Forum is devoted to studying mid-term and long term policies for Turkey’s transition to an information society and contributing Turkey’s information society transformation policies by promoting the concept of “information society”. The forum organizes workshops, seminars and conferences to create and to share knowledge on related issues.

Bilkent University - TÜSİAD Information Society Forum has joined the members of Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR) with the purpose of contributing BCTR's mission via high-level, reciprocal information exchange between the executive members of both platforms, organizing joint training programs, seminars and events on Blockchain, co-writing Blockchain themed reports/concept notes, and inviting BCTR's representatives to the related roundtables and working group meetings.

EDAM aims to contribute to the policy making process within and outside Turkey by producing and disseminating research on the policy areas that are shaping Turkey’s position within the emerging global order. In addition to conducting research in these fields, EDAM organizes conferences and roundtable meetings. Additionally, EDAM cooperates with numerous domestic and international to conduct joint-research and publications.

EDAM has become one of the first strategic partners of BCTR; aims to establish an ecosystem creating a network through local and international collaboration with public sector bodies; universities; think-tanks; science, industry and technology academies; and blockchain platforms and consortia in other countries or established by other associations. Through this collaboration, EDAM becomes the content partner of BCTR by providing subject matter expertise regarding the development of the Blockchain ecosystem in the fields of politics, regulations and international relations.

The IT Law Institute at Istanbul Bilgi University is a multidisciplinary research and teaching department with a global reach. The institute’s mission is to explore and analyze the issues arising at the intersection of emerging technologies and law to better understand their impact on society. Our Master’s program prepares students to deal with the ever-changing information environment and develop an understanding of the influence that law and technology has on each other. As a research institution, we aim to bridge the gap between the public and private sector, as well as civil society, through conferences and workshops to better gauge how law and information technologies interact to impact all stakeholders.

İstanbul Bilgi University Information Technology Law Institute has joined the members of Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR) with the purpose of contributing BCTR's mission via organizing joint national and international seminars on blockchain, analyzing legal/policy/technical approaches to blockchain and identifying the global best practices, running joint classes and certificate programs in order to create blockchain awareness in undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, alumni and student organizations level, analyzing the regulatory environment to develop "co-regulation," "soft regulation," and "better regulation" practices that foster innovation and enhance free-market dynamics.

Founded in 1773 with the name “Mühendishane-i Bahr-i Hümayun” (Imperial School of Naval Engineering) during the reign of Mustafa III, Istanbul Technical University is a prominent and pioneering university of engineering and architecture with many innovative studies in science, technology, research and development. İTÜ, as a university mainly composed of graduate engineering schools and research laboratories, works closely in collaboration with enterprises and other economic and social partners. İTÜ facilitates the knowledge and technology transfer to industries, management centers, briefly to all society. İzmir Institute of Technology is one of the state universities in Turkey and one that was established in 1992 with a view to offering a high level of education and carrying out research in technological fields. The medium of education at our Institute is English. It is one of the two Turkish institutes of technology, which are the most advanced models of technical universities in today’s world.

Kadir Has University was founded in 1997, in Istanbul. The university, with its five faculties of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Communication, Law and Fine Arts, as well as its several vocational schools, is dedicated to becoming a leader in educational and cultural fields in Turkey, as well as establishing itself as an international center for research and scientific development.

TÜBİSAD is representing the strongest collective voice of the companies operating in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and New Media sectors. Over 150 active member companies of TÜBİSAD are governing an economic volume of annually 30 billion USD in Turkey.

Based upon its experience exceeding 40 years, the center is now one of the most competent R&D centers of Turkey.
